Chasing Daylight: Zwift Indoor Race Series

An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Tuesday, repeating until March 3, 2020

This is a group handicap race in which groups of riders will set off at timed intervals, the quickest going last; the aim is for a group to catch the one in front and/or stay away from the group behind them in hot pursuit. The key to success is working together, as no lone rider should be capable by themselves of catching the group ahead.

Be prepared for fast starts and hard racing. Results can be seen at zwiftpower.com and will be based on your category. Remember to create a ZwiftPower account and connect Zwift Power on your Zwift Account/Connections to be on the result list. Choose the right Category, and most of all have Fun and Ride On.

This race will run the duration of Daylight Savings Time and end in March, with mostly flat courses that will last around 45min to 1 hour. Points will be collected for top 3 in each category;
1st = 10
2nd = 7
3rd = 4
All other riders will get 1 point.

– Power Ups Allowed
– All racers using zPower will be DQ
– No TT bikes
– Heart rate monitors required for all categories
– Riding outside chosen category will cause DQ.
– You need to have a registered account with Zwiftpower.com and accepted their terms and conditions to be in the results of the race.
– Choosing lower category than ZwiftPower says will cause DQ

GROUPS: Use your FTP and divide by your weight in kg and pick the correct group.
A: 4.0+ W/kg
B: 3.2 W/kg to 3.99 W/kg
C: 2.5 W/kg to 3.19 W/kg
D: Under 2.49 W/kg
