SUMMARY:Ride\, White and Blue Fourth of July Ride!
DESCRIPTION:How about a fun morning ride on the 4th of July\, with an amazing after ride brunch? Look no further\, and plan to join in on this one.\n\nThe RIDE White and Blue will roll from Bike Surgeon HQ in downtown O’Fallon at 8:30AM on Friday\, July 4th\, with a distance and pace for everyone. We will have a sportingly fun 25ish mile B group\, a conversational paced 15ish mile C group and a Family Ride for everyone else with distance determined by our youngest rider but guaranteed to be at least 5 miles of FUN.\n\nAt the conclusion of the ride\, we break out the BRUNCH. With waffles\, pancakes\, bacon wrapped pancakes\, breakfast burritos\, bacon and a bunch of fresh fruits from our friends at North Bay Produce and all kinds of other great eats! Unquestionably the best brunch in all of O’Fallon on the 4th of July.\n\nEveryone is welcome for this super fun and tasty event. Registration will open SOON!!!  Other “brunch drinks” including our famous “Saturday Market\, Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas and Adult Lemonade” will be available for purchase too. Plan to bring all of your family and friends and start your fourth off right!

This year we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of le Tour de Surgéon with even more than normal\, get ready it’s time to RIDE! Saturday\, July 5th – Sunday\, July 27\, 2025. This 3-week event at Bike Surgeon coincides with the Tour de France. Each day that there is a ride stage in the Tour de France\, there is a ride stage in the Tour de Surgeon. This event comes with everything you’d expect from the real tour\, except A LOT more fun\, as you get to ride\, not just watch! \nTo celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Tour in proper fashion we have added a BUNCH of HUGE PRIZES!!  And when we say HUGE\, we mean HUGE!  Prizes\, and how to win them\, will be announced on the first day of the tour and posted here shortly thereafter. \nTour de Surgeon is a points-based competition. This is NOT a race. \nThere are several ways in which to accumulate points in each stage: \n\nSign in and ride the stage. You get the biggest points for simply participating. 10 points for each official TDS Ride and 20 points for each off-site ride (7/6\, 7/9\, 7/10\, 7/13\, 7/17\, 7/20\, 7/24) you sign into and ride. The sign-in binder will be handled by one of our crew\, find that person in the shop or at the off-site ride and make sure to sign in. If you do your own remote ride\, not with the designated daily ride\, but rather a ride on your own\, you can earn 5 points. (please send Strava documentation to info@bikesurgeon.com within 24 hours of the ride time to get these points)\nApparel – Dress in a previous year Tour de Surgéon jersey or Pro Team jersey (3 points). Let the crew member who has the sign in sheet know you have a qualifying jersey on to get your points.\nSocial media – This one is worth three points per post\, one post per day. These will happen: Stage 2\, July 6th; stage 5\, July 9th;  stage 6\, July 10th; stage 9\, July 13th; stage 12\, July 17th; stage 15\, July 20th; and stage 18\, July 24th. These seven rides will be the only official TDS events of that day. The locations and times will be announced on our facebook event for the TDS and you get extra attendance points for participating in these rides (20 points vs the 10 points for a regular TDS ride).\nTheme Nights: On Stage 4\, July 8th; Stage 11\, July 16th\, and Stage 17\, July 23rd there will be a specific theme for the ride. If you dress yourself or your bike in that theme you will receive 3 points. Best dressed each theme night will receive an additional 10 points. This 3-week event at Bike Surgeon coincides with the Tour de France. Each day that there is a ride stage in the Tour de France\, there is a ride stage in the Tour de Surgeon. This event comes with everything you’d expect from the real tour\, except A LOT more fun\, as you get to ride\, not just watch! \nTo celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Tour in proper fashion we have added a BUNCH of HUGE PRIZES!!  And when we say HUGE\, we mean HUGE!  Prizes\, and how to win them\, will be announced on the first day of the tour and posted here shortly thereafter. \nTour de Surgeon is a points-based competition. This is NOT a race. \nThere are several ways in which to accumulate points in each stage: \n\nSign in and ride the stage. You get the biggest points for simply participating. 10 points for each official TDS Ride and 20 points for each off-site ride (7/6\, 7/9\, 7/10\, 7/13\, 7/17\, 7/20\, 7/24) you sign into and ride. The sign-in binder will be handled by one of our crew\, find that person in the shop or at the off-site ride and make sure to sign in. If you do your own remote ride\, not with the designated daily ride\, but rather a ride on your own\, you can earn 5 points.
