SUMMARY:O'Town Hustle 5K Run
DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual O’Town Hustle is changing up for ONE YEAR ONLY….5K!  You read it right\, we are rocking a 5K run this year in concert with CityFest as we are both housed at the O’Fallon Sports Park awaiting our all new swim facility in the Community Park to be finished just in time for the Tri event in 2025.   Sponsored again by Smoothie King O’Fallon and hosted by Bike Surgeon in collaboration with the Jennifer Mueller Memorial Foundation and Toolen’s Running Start.\n\n\nA super fun\, fast and flat run through and around the O’Fallon Sports Park with the start and finish on the wide open Sports Park Road for 1/2 of a mile to allow for a great opener to the race and awesome ripping finishing sprints.  The balance of the run is on the fun flowing 10′ wide fitness path that borders the park\, making for a wildly fast course with great surface conditions.\n\nAgain this year\, our race sponsor Smoothie King will be on site with samples and we will have our now famous after-race party with pancake and fresh fruit breakfast feast! Gary and Cathy Mueller\, the former proprietors of the O’Fallon Egg-and-I and founders of the Jennifer Mueller Memorial foundation\, will be on hand with their world-famous race day pancakes and tons of fresh berries\, fruit and toppings provided by our Team sponsor North Bay Produce. All race participants get in on the breakfast extravaganza and family and friends can get in on the goodness too with a breakfast only registration. A portion of the proceeds from each race registration and all proceeds from the breakfast registrations will go directly to the Jennifer Mueller Memorial Foundation Fund operated by the Mueller’s in memoriam of their daughter Jenn who passed from cancer in 2018.\n\nAll racers also get a sweet O’Town Hustle 5K race tee\, and the first 200 to register get an awesome 2024 O’Town Hustle 5K Finisher medal.\n\nThis event happens as one of the activities at O’Fallon CityFest\, the annual town picnic and carnival that happens in the park Friday\, August 23rd and Saturday\, August 24th.
